Prices and Information

The short tour lasts approximately one hour. The price is 120 SEK for adults and children aged 12 and over, and 60 SEK for children aged 6-11. Children under 6 are complimentary when accompanied by an adult.

Children must be able to wear a helmet throughout the tour and be able to walk on their own. 30 tickets are available online in advance, with a few additional tickets available on site.

The longer tour

For those seeking a more immersive and adventurous experience, we offer a longer tour. This tour takes you deeper into the heart of the mountain, navigating the authentic, narrower passages of the mine’s history.

This tour is designed for those who enjoy a physical challenge and a closer look at the mining environment.

  • Duration: Approximately 90 minutes.
  • Price: 180 SEK (Flat rate for all participants).
  • Capacity: Limited to 20 participants per tour to ensure an intimate and safe experience.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 10 years of age.

As part of this exploration, you will descend a 20-meter spiral staircase. While the staircase and most corridors are fully illuminated, the passages are significantly narrower than those on the short tour.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the route and for the safety of the group, it is not possible to turn back once the tour has commenced. All participants must be comfortable completing the full duration of the journey.

Is this tour right for you? If you have concerns regarding confined spaces or the physical demands of the descent, we highly recommend our Short Tour as an excellent and more accessible alternative.

The redmarked areas represent the tunnels and passages that are are explored during the tours. The yellow dotted line to the right is the short tour, while the long tour will follow the left dotted line to an entrance higher up the mountain, exiting at the entrance/exit for the short tour.

Pet Policy

To ensure the safety of our visitors and the preservation of the mine environment, pets are not permitted inside the mine. We do, however, warmly welcome accredited service animals and guide dogs at work. If you are visiting with a service animal, please feel free to notify our staff in advance so we can best assist you with your tour.

Climate & Recommended Attire

To ensure a comfortable experience during your visit, please take note of the unique subterranean environment:

Temperature: The mine maintains a constant, crisp temperature of approximately 5-10°C year-round. We highly recommend bringing a warm sweater or a light jacket, even during the summer months. Footwear: Our guided routes are dry and well-maintained. While you do not need specialized hiking boots, we recommend wearing standard, comfortable walking shoes for the duration of the tour.

Please note that there is a service fee of SEK 15 per ticket to the ticket company.
